Salary £29,269 – £31,364 per annum
NILGOSC is the largest pension fund in Northern Ireland and we are currently looking for a new member of staff to join our Communications Team.
The Role: we currently have the above permanent position available in our Pensions Development Team. As Communications Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering a high-quality service to our stakeholders and assisting the Communications Officer with the development and implementation of NILGOSC’s Communication Workplan and improving NILGOSC’s communications.
The Person: we are looking for applicants who are self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a team and have a positive attitude. You will need:
- 5 GCSEs at C or above including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalents)
You must state individual subjects and their grades
- A degree (at least 2:2) or equivalent third level qualification in relevant discipline (such as marketing, communications or other business-related subject)
- At least one year’s experience of working in a communications or marketing environment
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Awareness of content management systems, familiar with social media platforms and an interest in digital communications and accessibility
