Gender Inequality and Pensions

To mark International Women’s Day, we are teaming up with MoneyHelper to deliver an information session focusing on gender inequality and pensions.

This webinar looks at some of the challenges women face in retirement planning. According to a 2025 report from Prospect (Tackling the Gender Pension Gap), retired women may have 36.5% less annual pension income than men – equal to £7,600 a year on average.

Join MoneyHelper’s pension specialists and representatives from NILGOSC who will explain some of the reasons for the gender pensions gap and the steps you can take to help close the gap.

The session will also include a demonstration of our online portal – My NILGOSC Pension Online, which allows you to keep track of your NILGOSC pension and to plan for future retirement.
