Prudential AVC’s service delivery update

If you currently pay into an Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC) plan with Prudential, please be aware they are currently experiencing delays in the processing of contributions and paying out retirement claims.  Prudential is still implementing a recovery plan to address the system-related issues which they have been experiencing and are working hard to resolve the delays and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

There has been significant improvement over the last few months to the processing time of a retirement claim however there are still some old claims that remain outstanding.

In the meantime, we are focusing on managing and minimising the impact on our members and employers and NILGOSC continues to engage with them at a high level, and the matter has been reported to both the Pensions Regulator and the FCA.
