New Chair and Board Members

The Minister for Communities has appointed a new Chair for NILGOSC, two new independent members and reappointed a current Board member.

Communities Minister, Gordon Lyons MLA, has appointed Mr Mark McBride as the Chair of NILGOSC from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2028. Mr McBride previously served as an Independent Member on the Committee from 1 May 2019 to 30 April 2023.

He has also appointed Mr Dooley Harte and Mrs Cathy Matthews as NILGOSC Independent Members with effect from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2028.

Ms Heather McKinstry has been reappointed as an Employee Representative Member. Her first four-year term finishes on 30 April 2025, with her second term from 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2029.
