Throughout the year, colleagues got involved in a wide range of fundraising activities to support the charity. These included two relay teams taking part in the Belfast City Marathon, a soup kitchen, a festive raffle, a toy drive, a coffee morning, and Christmas volunteering at the MAC.
The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity supports children and young people facing a cancer diagnosis or complex blood disorder, along with their families. The charity helps fund vital resources, staff, specialised care, equipment, infrastructure, research and family support services for children and young people across Northern Ireland.
Sinead Lynch, Fundraising Manager of The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity, added: “We are thrilled with the amazing total raised by NILGOSC and are so thankful to all the staff who supported us. This money will make a significant contribution to the support services we deliver to children, young people and their families.”
From those who organised events and volunteered their time, to everyone who donated or supported the activities, the fundraising total reflects a fantastic team effort across NILGOSC.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the fundraising year such a success. Together, NILGOSC staff are proud to have helped make a difference for local children and families supported by this incredible charity.
