Published on

NILGOSC is delighted to announce that it has won the Pension Administration Award at the LAPF Investment Awards.

The award was presented at a ceremony in London on 30 September 2026 and recognises excellence in the delivery of pension administration services across the local government pension sector. NILGOSC was shortlisted alongside several other strong finalists and was successful in securing the award.

While the category focuses on pension administration, the award reflects achievements from across the organisation during the past 12 months. Areas recognised included member services, improvements in data quality, responsible investment reporting, communications and seminars, pensions dashboards, equality and diversity initiatives, staff wellbeing, the publication of the Annual Report and Accounts, stakeholder satisfaction, and providing guidance to members on the responsible use of AI.

Chief Executive David Murphy thanked all staff for their contribution to the achievement and highlighted the collective effort involved in delivering high-quality outcomes for members, employers and stakeholders.

This award is a significant achievement for NILGOSC and recognises the dedication, professionalism and collaborative approach demonstrated by colleagues across the organisation.

We would like to thank all staff whose hard work and commitment contributed to this achievement.

Congratulations to everyone involved.
