NILGOSC has been recognised by the pensions industry for its Scheme Administration at the LAPF Investment Awards 2021. The awards ceremony was held on 29 March in London having previously been postponed from November last year.

David Murphy, Chief Executive of NILGOSC, stated that ‘the award recognised the hard work of all NILGOSC departments to support our administration service, so congratulations to all of our staff. The judges noted our levels of member satisfaction, our commitment to the scam pledge and work with the National Fraud Initiative, our friendly website and My NILGOSC Pension Online portal, the Cyber Essentials plus accreditation, our investment returns and that we laid our Annual Report and Accounts on time (which was a problem for other schemes due to the challenges of the pandemic).
