The Department for Communities is consulting on proposals to bring in amendments to the Local Government Pension Scheme in Northern Ireland. These proposed amendments introduce changes required by an Employment Tribunal ruling on survivor benefits and a number of technical amendments and minor policy updates.

This consultation is open from 8 October 2021 and closes on 10 December 2021. The consultation document is available on the Department for Communities website.
