As a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB), NILGOSC is encouraged to consider and adopt the practices set out in the Code of Practice for Corporate Governance in Central Government Departments wherever it is relevant and practical and suits their business needs. NILGOSC is also required to compile its Governance Statement in line with the Code principles, where these are relevant.
