If you die in service as a member of the Scheme the following benefits are payable:
Lump sum death grant
The Scheme allows you to say who you would like any death grant and/or proceeds from your AVC fund to be paid to.
Survivors’ pensions
If you die, your widow, widower, civil partner or eligible cohabiting partner will be entitled to a pension.
Children’s pensions
If you die, your eligible children will be entitled to a pension.
